Baldwin County EMA to hold hurricane preparedness livestream

Any Baldwin County local knows to associate the warming weather each year with the upcoming hurricane season, and the ones who plan know it’s never too early to start preparing.

Baldwin County Emergency Management Agency will hold its 2024 Local Hurricane Preparedness livestream on Tuesday, May 6, at 1 p.m. A panel will discuss local information, resources and tips ahead of the start of hurricane season, which runs June 1 through Nov. 30.

The panel will include Jason Beaman, National Weather Service meteorologist; Ed Bloodsworth, WKRG News 5 chief meteorologist; Jason Smith, FOX10 chief meteorologist; and Tom Tyler, Baldwin EMA director.
