BCSO investigators seek public’s help to track down suspect

FOLEY, Alabama — Investigators with the Baldwin County Sheriff’s Office are seeking the public’s help in tracking down a suspect who they say was sexually involved with a juvenile under the age of 16.

According to a release issued Wednesday by the BCSO Investigative Command unit, deputies received information in July of 2020 and are currently looking for Pedro Zaphahoa-Martinez, a 29-year-old Latino male.

After following up on a lead, conducting interviews and collecting evidence, four warrants were issued for Zephahoa-Martinez for rape in the second degree.

According to the release, Zephahoa-Martinez fled his residence in Foley before the investigation was complete and deputies have not been able to locate him. The Baldwin County Sheriff’s Office is seeking help from the community for information on his whereabouts.

Zephahoa-Martinez is described as Latino male, 5-foot-10, 160 pounds with dark brown hair and brown eyes.
