FOLEY - You’ve seen him impersonate over 60 different celebrities in only one-hour. You’ve seen him perform magic tricks, both up-close and large illusions. You’ve heard him perform comedy, leaving the audience in laughter. Now, see Brandon Styles in a brand-new live experience: Trip Down Memory Lane Dinner Show.

The show, being held in the Brandon Styles Live theater in Downtown OWA, only seats 48 per performance, and will only run 17 times, Tuesdays and Saturdays during Jan. and Feb. Each show begins at 5:30 p.m. with a delicious pasta dinner served buffet style courtesy of Groovy Goat, including salad, spaghetti and meatballs, garlic bread, and wine. Your first drink, including wine, is free.

Following dinner, Styles will perform as over 40 of the greats, including Tony Bennett, Frank Sinatra, Roy Orbison, Neil Diamond, and other classic artists from the 50s - 70s.

“This show is a little bit different than normal, it’s really just Brandon’s voice,” said Diamond Marie, Styles’ wife, magic assistant, and assistant in creating the shows. “He has a little bit of props, but normally he’s doing magic and has lots of costumes. Most impressionists only use their voice, so since Brandon is a magician too he always mixed it in the shows. In this show he gets to really focus on his voice more, and it’s more of a serious show with only a little bit of comedy.”

The idea for the show was born a year ago, but the last six months have been heavily focused on putting it together. Styles is known for hundreds of impressions, and states that some appearing in the new show are ones heard in previous performances. There will be some surprises though, including ten all-new impressions he’s learned during the last six months.

Styles said they’re looking to do a casino tour with the show, as it’s a perfect fit. Before that he hopes people along the Gulf Coast will come out and experience the show before anyone else.

“There are very few singing impressionists in the world, and we want a chance to take people on a trip down memory lane,” he said. “Can you imagine, the first dinner show quite like this in this area? Coming in, getting some free wine, relaxing, listening to 40 of the greats, from Tony Bennett to The Platters? You can’t find this anywhere else, so come see it before it hits the casino tour. There’s only 17 shows and we only sit 48 people per performance, so get your tickets fast.”

Five shows have already been presold, and tickets are still available for the remaining performances at www.brandonstyles.com.

For those who are more into the comedy scene, Brandon Styles Live has you covered. For one night only, Jan. 17 from 7 - 9 p.m. the 3rd Annual Gulf Coast Comedy Fest will be hitting the Brandon Styles Live Theater at OWA, bringing five comedians to the stage with Styles as the MC for the night, presenting brand-new, never seen before material.

“It’s such a drastic change for one theater,” Styles said. “You go from a dinner show with a candle-lit dinner, and then you can rock out at a comedy fest. It’s amazing to have the opportunity to do that.”
