CB Chamber to host Flavors of the South July 18

ROBERTSDALE — The Central Baldwin Chamber of Commerce will hold its 16th Annual “Flavors of the South,” wine and food tasting event Thursday, July 18, from 5:30 to 8 p.m. at the Baldwin County Coliseum in Robertsdale.

The event is a premier showcase for local wine, beverage and restaurants, their chefs and culinary personalities. This is an opportunity to get involved with a large community event that allows for consumer exposure with attendance of more than 400 people.

Vendors

The event is expected to draw about 25 vendors (food and wine), showcasing culinary creations from throughout Baldwin County, said Chamber Executive Director Gail Quesada.

Vendors for the event include: Agapé Juices; Another Broken Egg; Billy Jack's Grill & Bar; Boudreaux’s Cajun Grill; Budweiser-Busch Distributing; Buster's Southern Pit BBQ; Café Acadiana; Chicken Salad Chick; Coca-Cola Bottling Company United; Derailed Diner; Dream Dinners; Fairhope Roasting Company; Foosackly’s; Goo Roo’s Grill; Greer’s CashSaver; Half Shell Oyster; Ivey’s Fine Dining; Key’s Southern Spice; LA Barbeque & Catering; Magnolia Blossom Café; Moe’s Original BBQ; Naman’s Catering; The Little Cake Shop; Wacked Out Weiner and Vitolli's Pizzeria & Italian Eatery.

In addition, the event will include a Small Business Expo, featuring five businesses, including South Baldwin Regional Medical Center, Coastal Alabama Community College, MedStar Aircare1, Reliable Realtors and EcoView Windows, Doors & Siding.

Tickets will still be available for sale at the door, $30 per person or $200 for a table of eight.

Presenting sponsor for this year’s event is South Baldwin Regional Medical Center.

The event will also feature a silent auction. Silent auction items are donated from area businesses to assist the chamber in bringing in operating funds.

This year will also see the return of the 15 guns in 15 days raffle. Your $50 ticket gives you 15 chances to win 15 prizes with a total retail value of $8,075. Tickets will be on sale beginning at the Flavors of the South event with drawings set to begin Sept. 30.

Only 350 tickets will be sold. You can also purchase tickets at the Chamber. A portion of the proceeds will benefit the CBCC Junior Executive Youth Leadership program.
