Central Baldwin Sunset Rotary recognized as “Exemplary Club”

ROBERTSDALE, Alabama — The Central Baldwin Sunset Rotary Club recently received “The Exemplary Club Award” for 2018-2019 at the Rotary District Conference held in Birmingham.

The Exemplary Club Award is given annually to a Rotary Club in recognition of overall excellence. Selection for this distinguished award is determined by evaluating overall membership growth, average meeting attendance, service projects, club bulletins, contributions to the Rotary Foundation, and PolioPlus support.

Central Baldwin Sunset Rotary Club also received an award for the Best Club Bulletin for 2018-2019. Club President, Kelly Childress, was in attendance at the conference to receive the awards.

Central Baldwin Sunset Rotary Club was formed in 2013 and is one of over 35,000 Rotary clubs with worldwide membership of 1.2 million. The official Rotary motto is, “Service Above Self”. Rotary members are people of action who come together to build connections, solve problems, and create lasting change that makes the local community and world a better place for future generations.
