Ellen Wright Glasscock, a resident of Greenville, Alabama and Point Clear, Alabama, was born Dec. 7, 1942 in Greenville, Butler County to the late Guy Wentworth and Mary Elizabeth Lowe Wright.

She leaves to cherish her memory a loving husband of 23 years, Robert Lee Glasscock, Greenville and Point Clear, Alabama; a daughter, Elizabeth Cecelia Berrey, Greenville, Alabama; a son, Arthur Milton Berrey III, Brewton, Alabama; grandsons, Gerald Alan (Shelly) Waloszyk, Aurora, Illinois, Fatu Berrey and Tise Berrey, Brewton, Alabama and Dakota Quinn Berrey, Greenville, Alabama; one granddaughter, Amy Bernedette Blackburn, Andalusia, Alabama; and one very special great-grandson, Robert Reid Blackburn, Andalusia, Alabama.

She was a lifelong Episcopalian, baptized and confirmed at St. Thomas Church in Greenville.

In lieu of flowers, the family would appreciate donations to the charity of your choice, including St. Thomas Episcopal Church, Greenville, Alabama and the Anxiety and Depression Association of America.

The family thanks the staff, especially the MICU nurses, at Thomas Hospital and the nurses and staff of Kindred Hospice, especially her attending physician, Dr. Frank Wang.

Graveside services will be held at St. Paul Methodist Church Cemetery, Greenville, Alabama at 1 p.m. on Wednesday, Dec. 4, with the Rev. Linda Suzanne Borgen officiating.

A celebration of life at St. Thomas Episcopal Church, Greenville, Alabama will be held at 11 a.m. on December 17, 2019.
