FOLEY - 5 Star Air Conditioning has been recognized by the governor’s office of the State of Alabama as a veteran-owned business.

In 2016 the governor’s office, in conjunction with NFIB/Alabama and the Alabama Small Business Commission, began a program recognizing veteran-owned businesses with a symbol of support and gratitude to honor those who have served our country and who continue to serve our communities.

“I am honored to be recognized by the state for my veteran status. My time in the Coast Guard holds fond memories and I am proud to have served,” said Tyler Higginbotham, veteran/owner of 5 Star Air Conditioning.

5 Star Air Conditioning is one of 136 businesses to be verified and recognized within Baldwin County by the State of Alabama as a veteran-owned business. Businesses that have been verified receive a decal to display at their place of business.

Established in December 2012, 5 Star Air Conditioning is a full-service HVAC company that has a reputation for providing exceptional service, using honesty as their guide, to ensure their customers are happy and comfortable in their homes. 5 Star Air Conditioning currently has three veteran team members and encourages other veterans who are interested in the HVAC trade to contact them for opportunities.
