Alabama High School Athletic Association Area tournaments open Monday and some continue through Saturday. Sub-region play is scheduled for Feb. 13 and 14. The South Regional tournament in Dothan begins Feb. 15.

Daphne boys and girls won the regular-season seeding schedule and are hosting the Class 6A Area 2 tournaments. Bayside Academy’s girls tied for first in Class 3A Area 1 run, but lost the coin to Clarke County which will host. In Class 7A the Fairhope and Foley girls will travel to Murphy while the Lions and Pirates boys teams will travel to McGill-Toolen Catholic.

CLASS 3A Area 1: (at Clarke County) Begins Monday, Feb. 6 at 5:30 p.m. - Mobile Christian vs. Bayside Academy and Clarke County vs. Cottage Hill.
