BAY MINETTE, Ala. — Registration will soon begin for the Bay Minette Youth Baseball and Youth Softball leagues.

BMYB will hold sign-ups and try-outs on Feb. 25 and March 4 at Halliday Park Pavilion. Registration will take place 9 a.m. to noon both days and try-out times will be: 1 p.m. for Coach Pitch; 2:30 p.m. for Minor League; and 4 p.m. for Majors (formerly Ozone). 
Registration is $80 for the first child and $50 for each additional child in the same family.

The League will have computers available both days to allow for on-line registration and payment. Advance registration is available at: BayMinetteYB.org. 
The Baseball League is open to youth ages 4- to 16-years old.

Registration for Bay Minette Youth Softball will be open Jan. 28 through Feb. 26 at the Recreation Complex on McMeans Avenue. The softball league is open to ages 3- to 15-years old. The fee is $65 and registrants must bring a copy of the child's birth certificate when registering.

Both leagues will hold their opening day ceremonies and games April 8. Baseball will play at Halliday Park and softball at O.C. Waters Park. For more information, call the Recreation Department at 580-2646.
