Edith Prine Stuart, 85, passed away March 26, 2016.
She was predeceased by her parents, Julian Ray and Katie Prine; brother, Julian Cecil “Buddy” Prine; and her husband, George M. Stuart Sr.
She is survived by her daughter, Susan McNair (Mike); son, George M. Stuart (Lyn); grandchildren, Stuart McNair, Stephen McNair (Lila), Mary Michael McNair, Tucker Stuart (Haley), Shepard Stuart, Kelly Stuart; great-grandchildren, Sophie Stuart and Thomas Stuart; and her twin sister, Elsie Wilson.
She was a member of Ashland Place Methodist Church and active in Lake Forest Women’s Club, Red Hat Society, Golden Girls and several bunco groups. She was an avid Auburn fan.
At her request there be no funeral. She donated her body to the Anatomical Board of the College of Medicine at the University of South Alabama.
