ORANGE BEACH, AL - The pop-up storms and high winds on July 27 stirred up H-1 and babies were discovered at the top at 3:45 in the afternoon.

The first baby strutted to the water about 5:25. She posed for photo ops all the way!!! The crowd at 200 plus were thrilled getting plenty of pics and video thanks to the daylight hatching.

At least 94 more hatched at 7:12 pm. The surf was pounding with the high winds and storms hanging around but thank goodness for a strong undertow to help the babies make their way.

The Orange Beach team was awesome - great job with the babies and the crowd. It was truly a great way to start the season.
