Kenneth Ray "Pete" Wilson passed away on Monday, Oct. 3 in Houston, Texas.

Pete was born in Spanish Fort, Alabama on Dec. 17, 1932, and resided in Loxley, Alabama for the past six years.

Pete was a Korean War veteran, having served overseas with the United States Marines.

Pete worked for many years with McDermott Oil Co. offshore out of Louisiana.

Pete was preceded in death by his parents, Flossie Mae Wilson Cole and Roy Wilson; his brothers, Roy Wilson Jr., Vernon Wilson, Paul Wilson; and his sisters, Evelyn Walling, Lois Godwin, Linda Schreckengast and Joan Horton.

Pete loved his family, and is survived by his daughter, Andrea (Shannon) Baker; his grandsons, Samuel, Jacob and Riley Baker, all of Mobile, Alabama; his brothers, George (Shirley) Wilson of Stapleton, Alabama, Roger (Peggy) Wilson of Orange Beach, Alabama and Pharis (Cindy) Cole Jr. of Robertsdale, Alabama; and his sisters, Betty Stanford of Loxley, Alabama, Patricia Hunter of Loxley, Alabama and Sherry (Randy) Falcone of Stapleton, Alabama. He is also survived by numerous cousins, nieces, nephews, other family members and friends.

Pete's graveside service will be Friday, Oct. 21, 2016, at 2:30 p.m. at the Alabama State Veterans Memorial Cemetery at 34904 Hwy. 225, Spanish Fort, AL.
