DALLAS, Texas — Gulf Shores Senior quarterback Jackson Newman played in the NUC's Texas vs World All Star game in Dallas, Texas on Feb. 19 earning Offensive MVP for Team Texas.

In the game Jackson threw four touchdown passes, rushed for one TD and ran for a pair of 2-point conversions in getting the 36-20 victory for Team Texas and earning him the Offensive MVP Award.

Jackson who will be graduating from GSHS in May is still uncommitted and is currently planning on attending a Sports Prep Academy next fall unless he receives a late college offer.
