Richard Arney Horn, age 75, native of Texas and a resident of Summerdale, passed away Saturday, Feb. 25, 2017.
Richard was a U.S. Marine Corps veteran and retired pipefitter. He always enjoyed living close to the water and spending time with his family. Richard was a strong man of faith and read his bible every day.
He was preceded in death by wife, Christine Horn; parents, Elvin James and Alberta (Granger) Horn; brothers, Curtis William Horn, Emmett Harvey Horn, Charles Alvis "Chappy" Horn.
Richard is survived by two sons, Tony (Lisa) Horn, Clifton (Jo-el) Horn; two daughters, Phylis Horn, Natalie (Emmett) Cowart; three sisters, Elizabeth Ann Chandler, Barbara Jean Minton, Mary Catherine (Charles) Michael; 11 grandchildren, Megan Gill, Madeline Horn, Joseph Horn, Kaleb Jarreau, Alexis Jarreau, Alexandra Jarreau, Bethany Land, Kevin Land, Sophia Horn, Leah Horn, Maxwell Horn; 13 nieces; and seven nephews.
Funeral services will be Friday, March 3, 2017 at 2 p.m. at the chapel of Wolfe-Bayview Funeral Home in Fairhope.
The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service.
Interment will follow at New Cooper Cemetery, Robertsdale.
