Savannah Rowell, a freshman pitcher for the Lady Sun Chiefs of Coastal Alabama, was been named the Alabama Community College Conference (ACCC) Softball Pitcher of the Week for February 13-19.
The Pensacola, Florida native finished the week with a 2-0 record.
She had 18 strikeouts, including 10 against Pearl River Community College. She surrendered just six walks on her way to a 0.47 ERA.
Kerri Irvin, sophomore first baseman at Coastal Alabama CC Bay Minette, was been named the ACCC Softball Player of the Week for Jan. 30 – Feb. 5. The Tuscaloosa, native hit .444 with 1 homerun for the Lady Sun Chiefs last week.
She recorded 5 RBI's and earned three walks while scoring two runs.
