‘Snapshot Day: one day in the life of Alabama public libraries’

Posted

The Foley Public Library is joining public libraries across the state in participating in “Snapshot Day: one day in the life of Alabama public libraries” on Tuesday, Aug.16. This day is to show how important public libraries and library systems are to the state of Alabama.

On Aug. 16, Foley Public Library will compile statistics, patron comments, photographs and other data chronicling a typical library day. The results from our library will be added to those of public libraries across Alabama to show how libraries provide invaluable services to Alabama citizens.

Please join us and have your photo taken for our website and/or Facebook page. Permission slips will be on hand for those participating. Patron comment sheets will be provided to all who attend the library on this date. Let us know what you like about the Foley Public Library.

“Snapshot Day: one day in the life of Alabama public libraries” is a project of the Alabama Public Library Service.
