Baldwin County High School’s baseball Tigers came out swinging with both varsity and junior varsity teams winning their season openers. The varsity team defeated Mary G. Montgomery 5-1 and followed with a 13-1 win at Davidson.

BAY MINETTE — Baldwin County High School’s baseball Tigers came out swinging with both varsity and junior varsity teams winning their season openers. The varsity team defeated Mary G. Montgomery 5-1. Tanner Clay pitched for six innings and Brett Buck closed out the seventh. The varsity team defeated Mary G. Montgomery 5-1 and followed with a 13-1 win at Davidson.

The JV Tigers defeated Daphne 14-4 to win their season debut.

BCHS travels to Faith Academy today, Feb. 23, for a 5 p.m. start, will host McGill-Toolen Catholic Feb. 25 at 1 p.m., and Foley Feb. 27 at 6:30 p.m.
