Annie Ruth Stabler went to be with her Lord surrounded by her loving family on Tuesday, Aug. 7, 2018.
Annie Ruth was born on Dec. 23, 1928 in Frisco City, Alabama as the fourth oldest of nine children.
She married Harold Stabler in 1949. They had one son, James Edward "Jimmy." She spent 38 years with Gulf Telephone Co., from which she retired in 1994.
Preceded in death by her husband, Harold Stabler; their son, James Edward Stabler; her parents, Freeman and Frances Annie Cross; and her siblings, Preston Cross, Earl Cross and Elizabeth Ray.
She leaves behind one brother, Johnny (Suzanne) Cross; three sisters, Lettie Chancery, Katie Carlee and Jeanette Toler; and many nieces and nephews.
Funeral services will be held Friday, Aug. 10, 2018 at 10 a.m. from the chapel of Wolfe-Bayview Funeral Home, Foley, Alabama.
The family will receive friends one hour prior to service time.
Interment will follow at Pine Rest Memorial Park, Foley, Alabama.
