Arthur Richard Smith, age 78, resident of Fairhope, Alabama, passed away Friday, Dec. 22, 2017.
Arthur was a U.S. Army veteran and a longshoreman.
He is survived by his wife, Hannah Smith; daughter, Sherri Patrice Smith; son, Richard R. Smith, all of Fairhope, Alabama; sisters, Barbara Bloxton of Chicago, Illinois, Carol Shoots of Fairhope, Alabama; brother, Terry Smith of Fairhope, Alabama; devoted nephew, Norris Christopher Smith; a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Wednesday, Dec. 27, 2017 at 11 a.m. at Shrine of the Holy Cross Church.
The family will receive friends from 9 a.m. until time of mass.
Interment will follow in Twin Beech Cemetery.
