Atha Joyce Hudson, age 80, resident of Daphne, Alabama, passed away Saturday, Aug. 5, 2017.
Atha was a member of the Eastern Shore Church of Christ. She graduated from Clay County High School and retired after 22 years of service with the federal civil service.
She was preceded in death by three sisters.
She is survived by her husband, William "Ed" Hudson of Daphne, Alabama; daughters, Angela Smith of Huntsville, Alabama, Brigitte "Dawn" McCarter of Fairhope, Alabama; two grandsons, Kyle Edward McCarter, Chase Hudson McCarter; many other relatives and friends.
A celebration of Atha's life will be held Thursday, Aug. 17, 2017 at 2 p.m. at Eastern Shore Church of Christ.
