Avil Ree York, age 96, passed away Saturday, July 27, 2019 in Foley, Alabama.
Avil was born March 29, 1923 to Savannah Smith York and Daniel York.
She is survived by her nephew, Larry Nall; three nieces, Carolyn York Swanson (Ted), Denise Nall Knox, Tina Nall Hochradel (Steve); also a great-niece, Jennifer Nall Petrandis (Thomas); a great-nephew, Patrick Knox (Amanda); five great-great-nieces; and one great-great-nephew.
Avil was preceded in death by her mother, Savannah May Smith York; her father, Daniel Webster York; a brother, Osvil York; a sister, Jean York Nall; and a nephew, Daniel Webster York II.
The family will receive friends Saturday, Aug. 3, 2019 from 10 until 11 a.m., followed with a memorial service at 11 at the First Presbyterian Church in Foley, Alabama.
The family will have a private burial at Pine Rest Memorial Park in Foley.
