Baldwin County Youth Football Tackles Cancer

This month the Baldwin County Youth Football is selling pink athletic socks and armbands so that local athletes can show their support during breast cancer awareness month in October.

The socks are $10 a pair and proceeds directly benefit cancer treatment, clinical trials and cancer education happening at the recently opened USA Mitchell Cancer Institute Kilborn Clinic in Fairhope.

Organizers said every dollar made is used at the clinic to benefit cancer patients in Baldwin County.

Orders must be received by Sept. 20.

To order your socks send your name, address, phone number and size. Sizes are small (1-5Y shoe), medium (6 – 9 shoe) and large (10 – 12 shoe). Armbands are also available for $5 each.
