The Bay Minette 12U All-Stars are 2017 District Champs.

The team will now advance to the state tourney at the Florence Sports Plex on June 30. The team went undefeated in district play, winning five games and outscoring its opponents 69-12.

The team also had with multiple shut-outs and homeruns to seal their championship run. Team members include: Braidin Hyatt, Ty Drinkard, Jake Jaye, Kaegan Long, Brady Howell, Josh Hyatt, Sam Day, Jake Neutze, Chance Bryars, Coltan Duncan, Trevor Murphy, Skylar Wasden, Ryan Boyington and Coaches Jamie Jaye, Charles Duncan and Brian Bryars.

State Rep. Harry Shiver presented a $500 Community Service Grant to Coach Jaye and players Ryan Boyington, Braidin Hyatt and Jake Jaye.
