Betty Sue Brown, age 85, passed away Friday, Oct. 7, 2016 in Robertsdale.
Mrs. Brown taught in the Elberta Public School System for 25 years. She was a member of Lagoon Baptist Church, where her late husband pastored from 1962-1964.
Betty will be remembered for being kind, generous and the sweetest person on earth. Her sense of humor will be missed by all those who knew her.
Betty was preceded in death by her husband, Harold Brown; and a grandson, Joshua O. Ivey.
She is survived by two daughters, Suzanne (Johnny) Wallace of Gulf Shores, Deborah (Tim) Ivey of Lancaster, South Carolina; three grandchildren; six great-grandchildren; and one great-great-granddaughter.
Funeral services will be Monday, Oct. 10, 2016 at 11 a.m. at Lagoon Baptist Church.
The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service.
Interment will follow at Wallace Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Alzheimer's Association.
