BAY MINETTE, Ala. - The team from T&M Heating & Air Conditioning was the overall winner of the Firehouse Scramble at Holly Hills Municipal Golf Course. The inaugural event served as a fundraiser for the Bay Minette Department's Fire Safety Prevention Program. Sixteen teams participated in the tournament, which had morning and afternoon flights. The winning team included Mack Byrd, John Hartner, Billy Wilkins and Bobby Crawford. Lee Huggins won Longest Drive and Larry Stapleton won Closest to the Pin. Ricky Rockwell won the raffle for the Ogio golf bag donated by Farmers Insurance Stapleton Agency, one of the event's title sponsors.

Fire Chief Mike Minchew said the tournament was a big success thanks to the participating teams and sponsors.

Title sponsors included Farmers Insurance Stapleton Agency and T&M Heating and Air Conditioning. Breakfast sponsors were Byrd Co. Real Estate and North Baldwin Infirmary. Lunch sponsor was North Baldwin Utilities. Hole sponsors included Charles Schwab- John Shoemaker, Chuck Stevens Automotive, McMillan & Associates, Baldwin Gulf Coast Pest Control, Ganey Family Farms, Wind Creek Atmore, The Hadley Law Firm, Norris Funeral Home, Young Professionals, and Baldwin Pole & Piling.
