Bobby Glen Agerton, age 81, a resident of Robertsdale, Alabama, passed away Wednesday, Jan. 11, 2017.
Mr. Agerton retired from the United States Marine Corps.
He enjoyed hanging out with his Morgan's Ice family at the ice house and driving around Robertsdale to make sure all was well.
Mr. Agerton was preceded in death by his parents, James and Sarah Agerton; sisters, Artie Devine and Ruby Ziglar; brothers, Louis Agerton, Elbert Agerton, James Agerton and Eugene Agerton.
He is survived by his wife of almost 60 years, Thelma Agerton of Robertsdale, Alabama; daughters, Debra (Jeff) Alford of Houston, Texas, Judy (J.P.) Paul of Robertsdale, Alabama and Robin (Wes) Phillips of Loxley, Alabama; six grandchildren, Cheryl Vaughn, Michael Paul, Whitney Stephens, Cory Stephens, Austin Alford and Jenna Alford; and five great-grandchildren, Daylan, Abbie, Preston, Carter and Madison.
Funeral services will be held Monday, Jan. 16, 2017 at 10 a.m. at Mack Funeral Home chapel, with burial in Baldwin Memorial Cemetery.
A visitation will be held Sunday, Jan. 15, 2017 from 6 p.m. until 8 p.m. at Mack Funeral Home.
