Celebrate the season with Legends in Concert’s Holiday Show at OWA Theater

FOLEY – Las Vegas’ longest running and most-awarded tribute show has a lot to celebrate this holiday season, as they launch their first Holiday show at its newest theater in Foley. Legends in Concert opened its doors at OWA in June to be met with excitement and enthusiastic crowds at its shows six nights a week. As the fall cast head out, the holiday lineup of performers begins on November 19.

The first annual Holiday show at OWA Theater will pay tribute to Tony Bennett, Dolly Parton, Lady Gaga, Blues Brothers and George Michael. Just as the Radio City Rockettes have become synonymous with the holiday season in New York City, the annual Holiday show at Legends in Concert has become part of the season’s celebrations in locations around the country. A dynamic blockbuster opening number begins the festivities with Brian Setzer Orchestra’s rendition of “Jingle Bells.” For the big finale, the entire cast will perform “The Most Wonderful Time of the Year” and the Legends band brings music memories to life with a sensational tribute to the Trans-Siberian Orchestra’s “Christmas Eve in Sarajevo” (“Carol of the Bells”) that brings the magic of the season to Foley.

“We are thrilled to launch the first-ever holiday version of our show in coastal Alabama, and look forward to it becoming a tradition for families visiting the region as well as for our amazingly supportive locals,” said Brian Brigner, Chief Operating Officer of Legends in Concert. “The show will feature signature hits from the stars that made them legendary, and holiday songs they recorded during their illustrious careers.”

Carmen Romano will share “The Good Life” with his classic portrayal of the timeless Tony Bennett, and will also serve as the host of the evening. Michael Knight brings his “Careless Whisper” to the OWA stage as George Michael, and have “Faith” he will perform his 80’s mega-hit “Last Christmas.” Sandy Anderson will be working more than “9 to 5” with an uncanny performance as Dolly Parton, and will certainly show up with “Hard Candy Christmas” in her stocking. Lady Gaga, presented by the dynamic Erika Moul, will give you a “Million Reasons” why you should see the Christmas show and will share a special duet with Mr. Bennett as a gift. And lastly, The Blues Brothers, portrayed by Romano and his partner Russ Peterson, will turn Sweet Home Alabama into “Sweet Home Chicago” with their comedic antics and Rhythm and Blues tribute.

This very special holiday production at Legends in Concert begins Nov. 19 and continues through Dec. 31. Legends in Concert will perform Tuesday through Saturday at 7:30 p.m. with additional matinee shows available at 4 p.m. on Saturday and Sunday. Adult tickets are on sale for $34.95 (+taxes/fees) and Child (ages 4-12) tickets starting at $17.95 (+taxes/fees). Legends in Concert also offers discounted Military tickets for $27.95 (+taxes/fees). VIP balcony section and preferred seating will also be available.
