SILVERHILL, Alabama — It was a day of celebration for Glenn and Sandy Geddes, who marked a milestone of 20 years in business while hosting an open house and cutting the ribbon on Thursday, Feb. 27 with the Central Baldwin Chamber of Commerce at the new location of Service Air Eastern Shore Inc.
“I just want to take this opportunity to thank all of those who have supported us through the years,” Glenn Geddes said. “Some of you have been our customers for 10, 15, 20 years. That’s hard to believe, but it’s because of that loyalty that we are here today.”
The family-owned business started in Fairhope in 2000, moving to its new location at 14075 Alabama 104 in Silverhill this past January.
“We simply outgrew our old facility and this was an opportunity to house our offices and our shop at the same location,” Geddes said, stating that the old shop was about 1,000 square feet with about 800 square feet of office space, while the new location encompasses 7,200 square feet under one roof.
Service Air provides service and replacement parts for residential and commercial air conditioning and heating units. They are the exclusive service provider for The Home Depot and a representative from the company’s corporate offices attended Thursday’s open house.
“We have some of the best employees,” Geddes said. “Not only are they good at what they do, they are simply good people.”

The Central Baldwin Chamber of Commerce will host a Business After Hours on Tuesday, March 10 at United Bank in Silverhill.
The Chamber hosts Business After Hours throughout the year at various locations throughout Central Baldwin as a networking opportunity for its members. The Chamber also presents Volunteer of the Month Awards and door prizes, including a $50 prize.
