Charles Ernest Kichler, age 84, a native and lifelong resident of Elberta, Alabama, passed away Wednesday, Dec. 20, 2017.
Worked his whole life as a sweet potato farmer.
Preceded in death by one great grandson, Hayden Caldwell.
He is survived by his wife of 64 years, Mary Joan Kichler of Elberta; daughter, Janice K. (George) Woerner of Orange Beach, Alabama; two sons, Jerald E. (Teresa) Kichler, Ronald D. (Laura) Kichler, all of Elberta, Alabama; brother, Fred Kichler of Elberta; sister, Clara Alms of Florida; 10 grandchildren; 11 great-grandchildren; and many other relatives and friends.
Funeral service will be held from the chapel of Wolfe-Bayview Funeral Home, Saturday, Dec. 23, 2017 at 10 a.m.
The family will receive friends one hour prior to service time.
Interment will follow at Elberta Public Cemetery.
