Christina Elizabeth Steed Nelson, 41, of Elberta, Alabama, passed away on Friday, Jan. 12, 2018 at her home.
Christina was born July 6, 1976 in Newton, Kansas to David and Janice Smith Steed.
Christina appreciated the simple treasures in life and loved the great outdoors. Her unique personality and love for life will be missed by many friends and family.
Christina leaves behind husband, Arthur Nelson of Elberta, Alabama; children, Ashley and Zechariah Kimbel of Florida, Joshua and Carissa Nelson of Elberta, Alabama; two granddaughters of Ashley Kimbel of Florida. Other survivors are parents, David and Janice Steed of Newton, Kansas; brothers, James Weed (Andrea) of Cheney, Kansas, Timothy Steed (Beverly) of Irvington, Alabama, Daniel Steed of Newton, Kansas; sister, Lacy (Steed) Hightower (Bill) of Foley, Alabama; and numerous nieces and nephews.
Preceded in death by brother, Joseph David Steed.
A celebration of life will be announced at a later date.
