City of Foley Christmas and New Year’s Holiday Schedule

We wish each of you a very Happy Holiday!

Christmas Holiday Closures:

Police, fire, and other emergency services will remain open to protect public safety and health.

City of Foley administrative offices will be closed on Thursday, Dec. 24, and Friday, Dec. 25, for the Christmas holiday. Regular operations will resume on Monday, Dec. 28.

The Foley Public Library will be closed on Thursday, Dec. 24 through Saturday, Dec. 26 for the Christmas holiday. Regular operations will resume on Monday, Dec. 28.

The Foley Railroad Museum, the Model Train Exhibit and the park train ride will be closed from Thursday, Dec. 24, through Saturday, Dec. 26. The Railroad Museum will reopen on Monday, Dec. 28.

Garbage and recycling schedule for the week of Christmas:  Tuesday and Thursday garbage and recycling will picked up on Tuesday, Dec. 22. Wednesday and Friday garbage and recycling will be picked up on Wednesday, Dec. 23. Please have all containers out by 6 a.m.

Limbs/Yard Debris and Bulk pickup routes scheduled for Dec. 24 and Dec. 25 will be picked up between Monday, Dec. 21 and Wednesday, Dec. 23. Please have all debris on the roadside by Sunday evening to ensure pick up. The service will resume on Monday, Dec. 28, beginning where crews ended before the holiday.

New Year’s Day Closures:

The Foley Public Library will close on Thursday, Dec. 31 at 5 p.m., and remain closed on Friday, Jan. 1, for New Year’s Day. Regular operations will resume on Saturday, Jan. 2.

The Foley Railroad Museum will be closed on Friday, Jan. 1 and Saturday, Jan. 2. The Model Train Exhibit and the park train ride will be closed on Saturday, Jan. 2. The Foley Railroad Museum will reopen on Monday, Jan. 4, 2021.
