City of Gulf Shores announces closures in honor of Veteran’s Day

In honor of Veteran’s Day, the administrative offices for the City of Gulf Shores will be closed Wednesday, Nov. 11. Police, fire and other emergency services will remain open to ensure public safety. Regular operations will resume Thursday, Nov. 12.

The Gulf Shores Public Library and Gulf Shores Museum will be closed Wednesday, Nov. 11. Regular hours of operation will resume Thursday, Nov. 12. 

The David L. Bodenhamer Recreation Center will remain open on Veteran’s Day from 5:30 a.m. to 7 p.m. The Cultural Center remains closed at this time.

The George C. Meyer Tennis Center will be closed Wednesday, Nov. 11. Outdoor tennis courts will remain open for public use. Regular hours of operation will resume Thursday, Nov. 12. 

Republic Services Garbage will run as scheduled and the Drop-Off Recycling Center will remain open. 

The City Store & Rental Office will be closed Wednesday, Nov. 11. Regular hours of operation will resume Thursday, Nov. 12.
