LOXLEY — The City Rhythm Big Band has announced its 2020 dance schedule, again delighting a very wide area of dancers coming from near and far to enjoy another season of beautiful music and vocals.

Dance and listen to this 18-piece big band playing new favorites, as well as big band era music, at the Loxley Civic Center, located at 4198 Municipal Park Drive.

The schedule for 2020 begins Jan. 25, and continues Feb. 22, March 21, April 25 and May 9. Dances are from 7 to 10 p.m., tickets are $10 per person with BYOB and BYO snacks. Water, ice and cups are provided.

This 18-piece big band is comprised of professional musicians who enjoy offering evenings of wonderful music and dancing, with varied styles from cha cha, to swing, to waltz. They are basically all volunteers who enjoy playing together in this big band, for the enjoyment of all who attend.

Manager Bill Clark and all the band members give generously of time and talents, along with Kathy Murchison and Ken Thacker adding their awesome vocals to the band.
