It is November on the Gulf Coast and that can only mean it is time for the songwriters to arrive. The 36th Annual Frank Brown Songwriters’ Festival runs from Nov. 11-15 and features more than 100 nationally acclaimed songwriters in venues along the Florida and Alabama Gulf Coast.

The Coastal Arts Center of Orange Beach will host a concert Thursday, Nov. 12 in the courtyard as part of the festival. Sugarcane Jane will play at 6 p.m. followed by Hits and Grins at 7:45 p.m.

One $15 ticket buys you a seat for both performances. There will be chairs for the first 85 tickets, but you can also bring your own chairs. A cash donation beer and wine bar will be available and offered by the Friends of the Arts.

Only 85 advance tickets are available in case bad weather requires the event to move inside. If weather allows the event to take place outside, additional entry tickets will be available at the courtyard "gate" entrance starting at 5:30 p.m.

Advance tickets are available at the Coastal Arts Center or call 251-981-ARTS (2787).
