St. Joseph’s welcomes new pastor Archbishop of Mobile Thomas J. Rodi will install Fr. James Singarayar, HGN as pastor of St. Joseph Catholic Church in Lillian at the 10:30 a.m. Mass on Sunday, July 7. Parishioners will welcome the new pastor at a pot luck luncheon/reception in Immaculate Mary Hall after the Mass.

New Life in Christ Church at 102 E. Berry Ave. in Foley will have “Time Lab”, Vacation Bible School July 8 through 12 from 9 a.m. until 12 p.m. for children ages 4 years through 12 years old. At Time Lab, everyone will discover Jesus from eternity past to eternity future as they enjoy songs, crafts, games, goodies, and dramas. For more information, contact (251) 943-2225.

Ecumenical Ministries, INC. (EMI) will be celebrating our 50th anniversary soon! We would love for you to join us for a reception celebrating our remarkable past and our promising future. This celebration will take place on Wednesday, July 17 from 2 to 4 p.m. at The Table, located at 300 N. Alston St., in Foley. This site is the original location of EMI’s office in Foley.

Benefit concert will be held from 6:30 to 8:30 p.m. Saturday, July 13 at Rosinton United Methodist Church Family Life Center, 26011 Baldwin Beach Express, Robertsdale. The concert features The Blue Grass Band, “The Well” worship leaders, Danny Floyd and Family. Proceeds from the event will benefit the Making Memories Hunt, which is held annually in December for youth and adults with disabilities at the Old Brady Hunting Club in Loxley. Loss of a Spouse 2-hour seminar will be held on July 20, from 10 a.m. to noon at Zion Lutheran Church. Cost is $5 per person. Featuring a video, group sharing and a booklet, all which help those grieving over a spouse's death. Please call the church office at 251-945-5209. First Annual Gospel Fest will be held beginning at 5 p.m. Saturday, July 20 at New Beginning Christian Fellowship Church, 13672 County Road 55, Foley. The event is a fundraiser for Daughters of the King Women’s Ministry and will feature the New Beginning Fellowship Worship Team and guest artists The Singing Angels, Morning Star Baptist Church Choir, Tasha Perry, Minister Jay Quiates, Carmen Jackson and Faith Tabernacle. Light refreshments will be served.

Fairhope Unitarian Fellowship invites you to join us this Sunday for an enlightening talk.

We are located at 1150 Fairhope Ave., Fairhope, and service starts at 11 a.m.

St. Peter’s Episcopal Church will be hosting Fish Fries on the first Thursday of every month from May through October (excluding July 4th) from 5 to 7 p.m. Eat in or take out. $10 per plate and includes fresh fried mullet, potato salad, cole slaw, baked beans, hush puppies and a homemade dessert. St. Peter’s is located at 6270 Bon Secour Highway (corner of County Road 10 and County Road 49) in Bon Secour. Next date: August 1.

Join St. Paul’s Episcopal Church Life Center the fourth Friday of each month for Spaghetti Dinner and Bingo. Dinner is served at 6 p.m. and the games start at 6:30 p.m. $5 for a full course dinner of spaghetti, salad, bread, drink, and dessert. $20 for 11 games of Bingo. Play them all or share with a friend! We WILL NOT be offering free babysitting this year, but kids are still welcome. Everyone is welcome! We are located at 28788 N. Main St. in Daphne. YUM! Join Foley UMC on the first Friday of every month from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. for our First Friday Fish Fry! Enjoy delicious white fish filets fried to golden perfection, accompanied by cole slaw, baked beans, hush puppies, dessert, and a drink all for a donation of $8! You can even get your order to-go! JSUMC Comfort Sowers meets every first Tuesday of the month at 9 a.m. at the Biscuit King and JSUMC CS 2.0 meets every third Sunday of the month at 11:30 at JSUMC, Building C. Next Dates: Tues., Aug. 6, for Comfort Sowers and Sun., July 19 for CS 2.0. Join us as we create comfort items such as prayer shawls, fidget blankets, bears, and many more items.
