Copper Kettle transforms into Hogwarts

Posted

On Saturday, Oct. 28, The Copper Kettle in Foley welcomed new and old students of Hogwarts School of Witchcraft and Wizardry back for a night filled with magic, mischief, and a beginning-of-term feast. Those in attendance began by entering through Platform 9 and ¾, where they were then sorted into their houses by none other than The Sorting Hat. House ghosts wandered amongst the guests, and Professor Dumbledore himself gave a speech before beginning the feast. Students could stop by Potions class, create their own wand, or for the brave of heart, take a stroll into the Forbidden Forest. Live music was performed, hot butterbeer served, and the magical properties of various teas explored and appreciated, as the houses came together to celebrate another magical year.
