DAPHNE, Ala. — The Trojans completed a home-court sweep this season with their 60-42 sub-region win at Jubilee Gym Tuesday night. Dre Graves led Daphne and all scorers with 20 game-high points, fellow senior Teion Stanton added 13 and Samir Hamlin nine as Class 6A No. 2 Daphne advanced to Dothan with a 60-42 over visiting B.C. Rain. The Trojans improved to 29-3 overall for head coach Cedric Yelding and 13-0 at home for the first time his time at DHS. The Trojans face Carver-Montgomery at 10:30 a.m. this morning. B.C. Rain (5-18) was led by Nicholas Safford with 12 points and Anthony Fairley with 10.

Daphne roared to a 13-0 lead and took a 23-7 first-quarter advantage. But the Trojans wavered in the second period as the Raiders closed the lead to 31-25 at the half. DHS reenergized and won the final two quarters 17-12 and 12-5.

"We got off to a really good start and then we flat lined,” said Daphne head coach Cedric Yelding. “I tell the guys that we have to play hard the entire night. (But) I'm extremely proud of my players. At halftime, our backs were to the wall and we came out fighting. I tell the players all the time too that basketball is a game of runs. We've been real good all year about having a run at some point. B.C. Rain played hard. Their players didn't quit. "

The Trojans hit 16-of-23 free throws. The Raiders were 6-for-18 at the line.
