David "Donnie" Deon Price, age 82, died on Saturday, Dec. 14, 2019 in Point Clear, Alabama, where he was second generation Fairhopian.
Donnie graduated from McGill High School and from the University of Southern Mississippi in 1959 and was also an Auburn alumni.
Donnie was the owner of Price Furniture Co. in Fairhope, Alabama.
He was a member of Fifty Funny Fellows Mardi Gras organization as well as a charter member of Knights of Ecor Rouge.
He was a proud member of the Lakewood Country Club "Mulligans" group. Loved cooking and good food, playing golf, fishing and bridge.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Lillie B. Price Malone and Willie Lamar Price; his wife, Jane Marie Price; and sister, Barbara Haas.
He is lovingly remembered by his wife, Stephanie Zieman Parker Price; children, Debbie Price Edgar (Hugh), Richie Price (Melissa), Jonna Price Boyington (Manny Reyes), Lisa Price (Mace Ritchey); grandchildren, Michael Edgar, David Edgar (Beth), Craig Comalander, Nathan Comalander, Haley Price, Hudson Price, Hunter Price, Harrison Price; great-granddaughter, Caroline Quinn Edgar; stepchildren, Ray Parker (Wendy), Stephen Parker (Amy), Michael Parker (Laura); step-grandchildren, Austin, Cloyd, Rachel, Cameron, Matthew, Molly, Michael Jr.; other loving relatives and friends.
Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Saturday, Dec. 21, 2019 at 11 a.m. at St. Lawrence Catholic Church.
The family will receive friends one hour prior to mass.
Interment will follow in Memory Gardens of Fairhope.
