DAHLONEGA, Ga. – The Montevallo women's golf team won the LeeAnn Noble Memorial by a margin of seven strokes. Former Spanish Fort player Elaine Wood powered the dominant performance by the Falcons that saw three players place in the top-20.

Wood led the field with a 7-under par in the two round tournament after shooting a 69 and a 68.

The Falcons shot a 5-over 591 to claim the team title as well, their second team title of the season. Wood's second round score of 68 set a new tournament record for lowest round scored and also set the lowest 36-hole scoring record with a 137.

Wood and the Falcons begin their spring schedule Feb. 20 at the Florida Southern Invitational in Lakeland, Fla.
