The Foley Civic Center was transformed into a fandom paradise on Saturday, April 14, when Forward City Con came to town for the second year in a row. The con is the perfect place for anyone who is a fan of comics, movies, video games, anime, and cosplay. The young annual event was filled with cosplayers, local merchants selling comic books, games, and handmade items supporting multiple fandoms, and a free VR experience provided by The Wormhole. The con featured special panels, human BINGO, door prizes, and a full cosplay contest featuring purchased and homemade categories. The Foley Public Library next door showed special anime movies throughout the event and offered refreshments. Keep a lookout next year when the next con comes our way!
