FOLEY - Foley High School’s Homecoming Week took place Sept. 30 - Oct. 4 and included a week’s worth of wearing themed clothing, the Homecoming Court’s announcement, and a parade and pep rally in the city, all leading up to Foley High’s Friday night football game against McGill-Toolen (Mobile) at Ivan Jones Stadium.
The parade rode through the streets of downtown Foley on Thur., Oct. 3, beginning at Foley Middle School and ending at Heritage Park. The parade included many teams and clubs from the feeder pattern schools, including the Foley High football team, ROTC, Mighty Band From Lion Land, Foley High cheerleaders, FFA, the Homecoming Court, and more. The Grand Marshal for 2019 was Board of Education member JaNay Dawson, District 4.
After the parade, a community pep rally was held at Heritage Park to pump everyone up for the big Friday night game and the Saturday night dance at the High School.
