A single-vehicle crash at 7:35 p.m. Monday, Jan. 23, has claimed the life of a Foley man. David Edward Bishop, 67, was seriously injured when the 2009 Toyota Camry he was driving left the roadway and struck a tree. Bishop, who was not using a seatbelt, was transported by air to Baptist Hospital in Pensacola, where he died at 9:22 p.m. The crash occurred on County Road 20, one mile west of Foley. Nothing further is available as Alabama State Troopers continue to investigate.
