STAPLETON, Alabama — The Fourth Annual Martha Ann Hinton Memorial Scholarship Ride will be held Saturday, April 15. Registration will be held beginning at 9 a.m. and the ride begins at 11:05 a.m. at the Volunteer Fire Department, Highway 59, Stapleton.

Sponsored by the Fire & Iron Station 1001, the event will feature a two-hour leisurely ride through the backroads of Baldwin County.

A donation of $15 for a single rider and $20 for a rider and passenger benefits the Martha Ann Hinton Memorial Scholarship, named for a longtime Baldwin County educator who died tragically a few years ago. The scholarship will be awarded to a student from Baldwin County on behalf of the Hinton family.
