Guy F. Storey III, 1945-2018

Guy passed away in the early morning on Feb. 22 at home in Fairhope, Alabama.

Born and raised in Atlanta, Georgia, Guy was the son of Doris and Guy Storey (both deceased).

He is survived by his wife, Susan; his furry children, Annie and Skipper; his sister and brother-in-law, Linda and Tony Faiia of Dahonega, Georgia; his brother and sister-in-law, Allen and Darlene Storey of Dahonega, Georgia. Survivors also include two dear uncles, Richard Bagley of Gainesville, Georgia and Calvin Bagley of Tampa, Florida; many nieces and nephews, great-nieces and -nephews and cousins.

A graduate Of Reinhart College and the University of Georgia, Guy was an avid Georgia Bulldogs fan (particularly when they won). His career in risk management and sales spanned over 45 years.

He had a great love of boats and the water, sailing on local waters and in the Caribbean. He especially loved cruising on the canals In France with great friends.

Many years ago, he discovered the beauty and charm of St Barts, an island in the French West Indies, and he and his wife visited there numerous times.

Guy was a member of the Treasure Island Yacht and Tennis Club in Treasure Island, Florida, University Yacht Club in Gainesville, Georgia and past commodore of the Point Yacht Club in Josephine, Alabama.

Guy also loved golf (when he played a decent game). He said he planned on playing with Payne Stewart when he arrived in Heaven.

A special thank you to his wonderful friends for their love and support.
