Harriett “Jean” Prouse, 86, a resident of Spanish Fort, AL passed away Thursday, September 24, 2020. She was a member of Eastern Shore Baptist Church. Jean was preceded in death by her husband, Jesse Prouse. She is survived by her daughters Cindy (David) Lober of Hoover and Susan P. Stringer of Spanish Fort; 5 grandchildren: Jennifer Lober (Jason) Colee of Madison, Aimee Lober (Kevin) Farrar of Vestavia Hills, Samuel (Cierra) Lober of Birmingham, Sarah (Triple) Sawyer of Daphne, and Will (Stephanie) Stringer of Hattiesburg, MS; 7 great-grandchildren: Emma and Jake Colee, Caleb and Wynn Farrar, Amelia Sawyer, Evelyn and Grant Stringer; many other loving relatives and friends.
Funeral services will be held from the Chapel of Wolfe-Bayview Funeral Home in Daphne on Tuesday, September 29, 2020 at 11:00 AM. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service. Interment will follow at Jubilee Memorial Gardens. In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made to Eastern Shore Baptist Church.
