Helen Mosley Kelly, a native of Century, Florida and a resident of Spanish Fort, passed away Tuesday, Aug. 8, 2017.

Helen was a longtime member of Spanish Fort Presbyterian Church for over 52 years where she was active in numerous committees. She was a graduate of Florida State University where she was a Phi Beta Kappa. Helen was proud to be a former employee of the FBI.

She is survived by her husband, Thomas H. Kelly of Spanish Fort, Alabama; one daughter, Laura Kelly Bates; two grandchildren, John Morris Bates III, Laura Keelin Bates, all of Chevy Chase, Maryland; loving nephew, John Mosley Lester of Richmond, Virginia; and special cousin, Mart Bene Wood of Montrose, Alabama.

A celebration of Helen's life will be held Friday, Aug. 10, 2017 at 1 p.m. at Spanish Fort Presbyterian Church.

In lieu of flowers, the family suggests donations in Helen's name to the Spanish Fort Presbyterian Church, or the American Cancer Society.
