HIGH SCHOOL SOCCER RESULTS

BOYS : Foley 3, Robertsdale 0

The Foley Lions defeated county rival Robertsdale 3-0. The first half was a scoreless draw, but in the second half Foley scored three goals. The Lions shot the ball 28 times Tuesday night with Dalton Taylor, Josiah Escobar, and Jesse Parker finding the net. Taylor scored on a corner kick that he bent into the back corner. Escobar scored on a crosser assist from Cameron Walker while Parker earned a PK and drove it home.

Providing support in the middle was center mid Erick Gonzalez. The back three, Miguel Lopez, Jorege Martinez, and Pedro Lemus made it difficult for the Golden Bears in the middle and back thirds. Also showing strong in the middle was a captain for tonight's game, Marlon Morales. Moises Ramirez, JD Alexander, and David Ramos also provided key play in the transition zone. The Lions (5-4-1) travel to Murphy next week.

GIRLS : Foley 4, Spanish Fort 2

Summer Kaechele’s shot on goal for the Lions resulted in Spanish Fort deflecting for an own goal. Destiny Hammac scored two goals for Foley in the second half along with Emily Cole breaking away for her first varsity goal.
