The Bayshore Christian Eagles defeated Lighthouse Pensacola 17-0 as two pitchers combined to throw a shutout. Garris Adamson earned the win for Eagles. He threw three innings, giving up zero runs, one hit, and striking out three. Nathan Vincent struck out the final Lighthouse batter to finish the game for BCS.
An early lead helped propel the Eagles who scored on a single by Charlie Brock, a walk by Max Jones, a single by Hunter Hardy, a stolen base by Trevor Thrasher, a single by Adamson, a fielder's choice by Bryant Brock and stolen base in the first inning. An error scored one run for Eagles.
Adamson earned the win for the Eagles. He threw three innings, giving up zero runs, one hit, and striking out three. Bayshore collected 15 hits. Sam Malone, Thrasher, Ellis Hope, and Hardy each collected multiple hits for Eagles. Malone went 3-for-3 at the plate with a double, a triple and an RBI to lead Eagles in hits. Hardy had ywo RBIs. The Eagles’ defense didn't commit an error.
Lighthouse Pensacola’s Shyann McCorvey singled in the third inning. Matt Rigdon took the loss for Lighthouse Pensacola. He went four innings, allowing 17 runs, 15 hits, and striking out one.
