Jack Teague of Foley, passed peacefully in his sleep on Thursday, March 19, 2020. Born October 20, 1932 in Gleason, Tenn., his parents, Dallas and Evie Teague, soon moved to Mobile where he spent his childhood. As a career military man Jack became a distinguished marksman coaching the U.S. Army Marksman Rifle Team and was a member of the elite marksmen President’s One Hundred. Command Sergeant Major Teague served in the Korean and Vietnam Wars earning among many honors, the Purple Heart, Bronze Star, and Silver
Star. Using his aviation skills, as a civilian, Jack purchased and operated the Gulf Shores Airport and FBO before finally retiring. He is survived by his wife of 30 years Constance H Teague; brothers Joe Teague (Joan) Port St Lucie, Fla., Gary Teague, Uriah, Ala.: children; Ricky Teague, Foley, Ala., Jack Teague, Mobile, Ala. . Stephenie Moody (Joe) Eight Mile, Ala. , Stan Teague (Carrie) Charlotte, N.C. ; stepchildren; Matthew Willett (Natasha) Silverhill, Ala. , Nicole Hammons (William) Cincinnati, Ohio, and ten grandchildren. Interment will be held later at the Alabama State Veterans Cemetery in Spanish Fort.
