James Aloysius Gaignard, age 62, a resident of Daphne, passed away on Monday, Dec. 31, 2018.
James was a member of Christ the King Catholic Church. He loved music, had a passion for cooking and was an avid Alabama Football fan.
James' smile, fun-loving spirit and laughter will be missed by all who knew and loved him.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Willie and Rita Gaignard; and brother, Wendell Gaignard.
He is survived by his wife, Jennifer S. Gaignard of Daphne; two sons, Jimmy A. (Rachel) Gaignard, Will N. Gaignard, both of Daphne; four daughters, Brandy G. (Eric) Mills of Foley, Heather G. (David) Ward of Orange Beach, Ava Marie Gaignard, Shelby W. Stepp, both of Daphne; brother, Pat Gaignard of Magnolia Springs; two sisters, Billie (Dave) Morrison of Daphne, Terry Esposito of Gulf Shores; five grandchildren; other loving relatives and friends.
Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Wednesday, Jan. 9, 2019 at Christ the King Catholic Church at 11 a.m.
The family will receive friends one hour prior to mass.
Celebrant of the mass will be Father Matthew O'Connor.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital.
